Vice President, North American Sales
Hitachi Server Group
As vice president of North American sales for the Hitachi Server Group, Lynn McLean is responsible for leading all sales in North America, including both direct and indirect sales.
McLean joined Hitachi in January 2007 with more than 22 years experience working in the IT industry. Most recently, she served as the vice president of partner development for the western region of MTM Technologies, for whom her primary role was to drive product and services sales with MTM's largest partners, including Hewlett Packard.
Previously, McLean spent more than eight years with Hewlett Packard, starting with Compaq in sales and moving through the sales management organization to the executive level. Throughout her career at HP she led teams that consistently overachieved their annual sales targets and related metrics. In her last position at HP, McLean managed the west services sales team, which represents the breadth of HP services to the enterprise segment of customers.
McLean's previous experience includes managing a division at Deltanet, Inc., comprising application developers and account executives who sold, developed and maintained the software supporting the nation's largest dental claims processor. She also served as an Officer in the United States Navy, managing a division responsible for operating and maintaining one of the Navy's five worldwide mission critical regional telecommunications facilities.
McLean holds a master's degree in computer science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif., and a bachelor's degree in computer science from Marquette University.
